Uqbar is Brazil's first knowledge based company specialized in advanced finance, with a focus on domestic securitization. Its mission is to transmit and generate knowledge for the financial market through the three pillars on which it is founded: education, information and technology.

In the area of education, Uqbar's product line responds to the growing demand for knowledge of securitization technology and instruments, such as Receivables Investment Funds (FIDC, or Fundos de Investimento em Direitos Creditórios) and Certificates Backed by Real Estate Receivables (CRI or Certificados de Recebíveis Imobiliários).
In this segment Uqbar conducts Portuguese language courses (classroom presence and on-line), workshops, presentations, conferences, seminars and congresses focused on Securitization and Credit Derivatives. Uqbar's educational events are recognized for their innovative form and efficient means of transmitting complex concepts through a combination of content, rich in images and other visual aids, group exercises and case studies.
In 2003, Uqbar began publishing performance data and analysis of the national securitization market in its annual report, Review of the Brazilian Domestic Securitization Market (Securitização: Revisão do Mercado Doméstico) and in the Brazilian Domestic Securitization Market - Quarterly Report (Informativo Trimestral Uqbar). These Portuguese language publications are the result of the only systematic and on-going analysis of this market and, owing to their breadth, quality and independence have become the reference as the principal source of information on securitization in Brazil. In addition to the periodicals above, Uqbar produces customized reports to attend specific client needs for information on the Brazillian domestic securitization market.
