Smart Securitization

Smart Securitization

What is it?

Orbis is software from Uqbar's Technology Platform, Tlön, a powerful information system that offers consolidated and specific data on the Brazilian securitization market.

Using the concept of perspectives to organize and present information, Orbis offers exclusive access to Uqbar's data bank, plus a set of analytic tools that allow for detailed analysis of the market.

As with all software in the Tlön suite, Orbis allows users to interact with the system in an easy and visually agreeable manner. Quantitative data are presented in a clear fashion with the use of tables and charts.

Tlön combines the understanding of professionals with more than 20 years of experience in securitization, mathematic modeling and information technology. Its objective is to present in a single integrated platform tools for the insertion, verification, consultation and analysis of data related to operations executed through receivables investment funds (fundos de investimento em direitos creditórios, FIDC), real estate investment funds (Fundos de Investimento Imobiliário, FII) and real estate securitization companies (Companhias Securitizadoras de Crédito Imobiliário, CSCI).

The platform was developed with a view to integrate perfectly the portfolios of securitized credits, the financial engineering structured into each operation and the management of those operations.

What are the contents?

Orbis provides access to information through five different perspectives:

A. The "Operations" Perspective

This perspective includes all FIDC and FII currently in operation or registered at the Brazilian securities authority (Comissão de Valores Mobiliários, CVM) in the last 180 days. Also included is a list of all CSCI operating in the country plus data on their respective issuances of certificates of real estate receivables (Certificados de Recebíveis Imobiliários, CRI).

The information for each fund is detailed below:

It also allows indexes to be created or imported.

How to obtain it?

Orbis is available by subscription. The subscription documentation is a non-exclusive license agreement covering the software and supply of information, for a minimum period of one year.

How does it work?

Orbis works on the basis of web services installed on Uqbar servers. Access is through the HTTP protocol on the standard server port (80). Communication is always initiated by Orbis and the server responds on the same connection. All information is exchanged in encoded messages.

The installation requirements for Orbis are:

Windows operational system

Approximately 100 MB of space available on the hard disc

Script permission on the file on which the program will be installed for the user to execute a direct internet connection.
